The first step is to begin preparing your project for assignment to a designer. Before design takes place we need to get a solid idea of what you are selling and the 'feel' you want to implement in your storefront. For this to happen, you will need to get acquainted with the shopping cart software and start creating categories, custom pages and uploading a few products. We will use this information as well as your personal expectations to generate a design to suit you and your shopping cart.
If possible, please contact the Ashop design team a week or two before you wish to begin. We will advise you if there is a delay due to an influx of requests, or if we can start right away. Thank you for your understanding.
It is paramount that you have begun the first step in this process before your designer can start work. Once your designer has developed a clear idea of your requirements, they will create the first draft or 'mock-up' and send it to you. Depending on the package you chose, your designer will submit two revisions working toward your final design upload.
The process can last 1-3 weeks depending on your package. Once completed and approved by you, the storefront design will be uploaded to your shopping cart and the required layout, font and colour changes will be made to finalise your custom design implementation. After you have had the chance to review your new and active design, the project sign off can take place. This process will not interfere with you uploading content so you can quickly build an online store. Any changes after this final approval will be paid changes.

A header design can be a cost effective start to creating a professional looking site. Since it's the first point the eye would focus on when landing on your site, it's a perfect solution for providing a clear navigation menu, your logo and driving colour for the rest of the site.
Ashop also offers time release header rotation so create one for Easter, Christmas and yearly sales.
Banners can be used for a great number of solutions in your online store. E.g. banners for your affiliate program, general product advertising, sale notifications, bonus offerings etc.
Create a few and rotate monthly.
The product listing is also known as category pages where product thumbnails are listed. Create your own style of thumbnails and layout to suite your online store.
The product detail page includes all detailed information about the product such as short and long description, full size images, reviews, questions and answers etc. All page elements can be designed how you want, so ask a representative for more information.
Widgets represent a large portion of a pages design. They wrap around each feature within sections of your web page, e.g. newsletter subscribe, new products, best sellers, categories etc. A widget design can be used to create the 'feel' around these features and menus.
As your main point of contact from your store, the contact us page should be clear, easy to fill and include image captcha to prevent spam. The following elements are included.

A slide show is a professional way of displaying images on your website in a rotation rather than listing individually down the page. Often used as a home page display or general banner advertising.

- Transitional effects and timing can be modified.
